Summer Hamilton

Professional Bio

Summer L. Hamilton is a digital projects designer for the Digital Liberal Arts Research Initiative at Penn State. She works closely with the Just Transformations fellows and the Center for Black Digital Research at large. She provides methodological and technical support for existing and future digital scholarship projects, most of which focus on recuperating and disseminating historically underrepresented archival material in online digital platforms. Hamilton holds a PhD in English with a focus on African American literature from Southern Methodist University.
