Shadae Lovelace

Professional Bio

Shadae is a second-year student studying Criminology and International Politics with a minor in Spanish. Originally from Newark, New Jersey, Shadae was raised by immigrant parents from the West Indies. They are a first-generation student with a dedicated passion for public policy and social justice. Hoping to one day earn their J.D. and become an attorney. On campus, Shadae is a member of the Liberal Arts Undergraduate Council. Their favorite things to do outside of academics are traveling to new countries, making art through creative direction, planting, and practicing yoga and meditation. Their favorite thing about the College of the Liberal Arts is the opportunity to engage in exploration through the college no matter the major.
