Matt Smith

Professional Bio

Matt Smith joined the College of the Liberal Arts’ Alumni Relations and Development team in August 2024. Previously, he served as director of employer relations for Smeal College of Business, connecting corporate recruiters with graduate business students for employment opportunities. Before that, Matt was at Penn State Outreach, consulting with various government, industry, and nonprofit organizations to promote online degrees through the Penn State World Campus Education Alliance program. Matt began his career in advertising and healthcare sales prior to joining Penn State in 2013 and enjoys furthering the advancement of the University in all its endeavors with students, alumni, and corporate stakeholders.
