Biography:
I have worked in Student Services for many years and have been advising at Penn State for the past seven. I enjoy meeting with students and sharing in their educational journey. I am passionate about advocating for students and helping them advocate for themselves. It is rewarding to help students clarify their goals as they engage in the ownership of their education. There are so many opportunities available to students in Liberal Arts and at Penn State and it is my hope to be able to assist students in making meaningful choices so that they can capitalize on these opportunities and make the most of their education.
Outside of work I enjoy the outdoors, family time, and sports. My husband also works at the university and we have two children, a dog and a cat. My children are active in sports through soccer, basketball, track and Irish dance. I travel most weekends to support them in their events. As a student I studied abroad in Austria and in Germany and I hope to continue travelling and exploring.
