In college I took several classes on South Africa, studied Nelson Mandela, traveled to the country, and visited Robben Island. These experiences have shaped who I am and how I approach my work with students.

Favorite College Memory: Studying abroad in South Africa and rooting on the Bemidji Beavers in collegiate hockey.

Favorite Campus Location: The ponds at the Hintz Family Alumni Center because it is a fun place to hang out with my husband and twin toddlers
