Alana is a fourth-year Paterno Fellow double majoring in Political Science and Communication Arts and Sciences. She is from Rock Hill, South Carolina, and is president of the Multicultural Undergraduate Law Association, a Liberal Arts Ambassador, and a mentor for the National Council of Negro Women. Alana has enjoyed finding her community and getting involved around campus. Her favorite things about being a Liberal Arts student are the flexibility, freedom, and encouragement to pursue different areas of study that she hadn’t been aware of before.
