Christopher Dobbins

Professional Bio

Chris is a people strategist with a background in establishing and growing businesses, designing integrated strategy, and enabling teams through efficient operations within the tech industry. He currently leads People Operations for an e-commerce startup, called OpenStore. Prior to OpenStore, Chris was a people leader at DoorDash, Uber, and Twitter during transformative years where his teams were integral in shaping strategy and procedures through hyper-growth phases, and maturation from privately held to public. Chris is also a veteran of the United States Air Force, where he served five years as an intelligence officer, focused on counterterrorism through drone operations. As a Penn State student, he was a member of the Air Force ROTC. In addition to his Penn State degree, Chris holds a certificate in leadership and strategy from Harvard Business School’s Executive Education Program. He resides in San Francisco, California, with his wife, Lindsay.
