How did you learn about this opportunity?
I attended Penn State and started for the Men’s Lacrosse Team. I put in four years of hard work so I already knew the team and staff. I was coming back for a semester and asked if I could be a volunteer assistant to stay close to the team and stay in shape.
Tell us a little about your experience.
My overall experience was fantastic! I was able to learn from the best lacrosse staff in the country and apply what they teach to my everyday life. If I want to coach after I graduate I now have the experience and tools to do so. I was with the team every day for multiple hours a day. I examined film and talked to the defensive unit on how to improve. I also created videos that show what the lacrosse team does and how hard they work. Overall my experience was awesome and I am thankful for this course.
