During my legislative internship with the United States House of Representatives, I attended congressional briefings, hearings and markups, drafted legislation memos, met with activists and constituents, and tracked votes on the House floor. I also got to interact directly with constituents through phone calls and letters, and give tours of the United States Capitol.

"This internship helped me put into practice a lot of the skills I learned through my liberal arts curriculum, especially my communication, writing, and research skills."
