Give us a brief summary of your experience?
This summer, I was granted an internship where I worked as a journals production intern at the PSU Press. I worked closely with production managers who sent me assignments that enriched my skills with reviewing and editing, navigating Adobe Photoshop, and communicating with other interns, coworkers, and authors. I witnessed the production process more intimately than ever before and now understand each step thoroughly because of my engagement.
How did this experience impact you academically?
My time management skills, attention to detail, and effective organization in general greatly improved over this summer experience.

How will this experience impact your career goals?
I am currently pursuing a career in the publishing industry. This internship experience reassured my hope of working towards editorial and production positions in particular once I graduate.
How has the College of the Liberal Arts helped you to find and/or succeed in this experience (e.g., adviser, faculty, staff, enrichment funds, etc.)?
The College of Liberal Arts has provided me with great resources and advisers since the start of my freshmen year. My academic adviser Julianna Chaszar and the internship coordinator Dr. Steele Nowlin have helped me with not only my academics but kept me consistently updated on events and opportunities within the College of Liberal Arts.
