At Fehr Financial, I have been able to gain work experience and enhance business communication skills. This experience has allowed me to learn under successful financial advisors and consultants. This has enhanced my strategic planning, analysis, and overall understanding of what this job entails. Choosing to interview the President was also something that I found beneficial and I received lots of crucial information.
How did this experience impact you academically?
This experience impacted me academically positively in regards to time management. I was able to balance class as well as real life professional tasks that has allowed me to be a better overall student. The experiences have given me a new appreciation for the importance of my academics because I was able to see how they translate to the professional world.

This internship impacted my career goals most in a networking perspective by allowing me to connect and build relationships with many successful financial advisors. The opportunities that can bring to my career are endless. Utilizing members as references or for advice will go a long way.
How has the College of the Liberal Arts helped you to find and/or succeed in this experience (e.g., adviser, faculty, staff, enrichment funds, etc.)?
I was told about this opportunity from an adviser. The adviser was able to relay all the information I needed regarding the LA495 program. I am extremely thankful for this opportunity and believe it will impact me in a positive way down the road.
