What was the best part of your experience?

The best part of my experience with the FBI Honors Internship was getting a feel for what it's like to work in the public sector and be part of the FBI family. My experience this past summer really solidified what I want to do after graduation.

How did this experience impact you academically?

This experience informed me of the things that I need to do in my senior year to stay on track and better my chances of receiving an offer of full-time employment after graduation. My internship experience made me realize how large a variety of career paths and areas of expertise the FBI offers, which reassured me that both my two majors and my minor will benefit me in the public sector.

How will this experience impact your career goals?

In terms of my career goals, this internship could not have been more useful. I was able to network and get advice from many people, including people in senior/executive-level positions, about my career goals and trajectory. Toward the end of my internship, I had the opportunity to apply for several entry-level positions and seek guidance as to what these positions entail from people who are currently in them.
