What was the best part of your experience?

The best part of my summer internship was the people I met and the exposure to senior management I had. I was able to have breakfast with the Goldman Sachs Global Treasurer and have several round tables with Treasury Managing Directors. Through these experiences, I was able to see and experience the Goldman Sachs work culture.

How did this experience impact you academically?

In the beginning of my summer I sat on a fixed income trading desk. I was able to learn financial technical knowledge from experts in the finance field. This has aided my education at Penn State and allowed me to develop the skills I will need going into the finance industry.

How will this experience impact your career goals?

This internship has allowed me to solidify my interests in the finance industry and begin developing my network. Through this internship I was offered a full-time position which will allow me to continue to network throughout the school year and start my career at a firm I have experience with and that I know I want to be at.
