What was the best part of your experience?
The best part of my experience at GSA was learning about the behind the scenes, business side of the government in greater depth. GSA works with other federal agencies to provide services that will help them function properly and efficiently, which was cool to be able to experience firsthand. Also, living and working in Washington, D.C. was an amazing experience.

How did this experience impact you academically?
Academically, this internship helped me further develop my study of economics by working for the federal acquisition service in GSA. This also gave me political exposure and the ability to use my political science background to further my understanding of the government and its functions through real life situations.
How will this experience impact your career goals?
Working at GSA helped my career goals by giving me acquisition, political exposure, and experience that I hope to use as I further my career within the business (public or private) industries. This experience helped me narrow down what I hope to involve myself with later in life and in my career. It also opened me to new possibilities and things I would enjoy doing as my career after graduation.
