The Department of Political Science seeks a Graduate Assistant to serve as the Program Assistant for the Political Science Horizons program and to assist with the collection and analysis of data related primarily to the Department's undergraduate program.

Job Description: The Department of Political Science seeks a Graduate Assistant to work for 20 hours per week during the Spring 2023 semester. The Graduate Assistant will have two major tasks. First, the Assistant will serve as the Program Assistant for the Political Science Horizons program (https://sites.psu.edu/psuhorizons/), a leadership and mentoring program for undergraduate students to the Political Science Department. The Assistant will help the program's Advisor plan and successfully execute events. Second, the Graduate Assistant will assist with the collection and analysis of data related primarily to the Department's undergraduate program, including data related to course offerings, undergraduate enrollment, World Campus, and the department's honors program.

Required Qualifications: The successful candidate must be a self-starter who possesses excellent organizational, writing, presenting, and analytical skills. Candidates must be full-time graduate students at Penn State University Park Campus, fluent in English, and in good academic and conduct standing with the University.
