The Malvin E. and Lea P. Bank Outstanding Teaching Award was awarded from 2013-2017 to an outstanding full-time, tenured faculty member in the College of the Liberal Arts at Penn State, University Park. The purpose of the award is to reward and publicize excellent teaching and to inspire others to become excellent teachers. During the academic year in which the award is received, the recipient of the Malvin E. and Lea P. Bank Outstanding Teaching Award will give a public lecture or presentation on undergraduate teaching, open to the University community, and participate in the College's new faculty workshop.
