2014 Outstanding Alumni in Business Award

Michael Mitrovic, ’74 Political Science and History, is President of Global Claims for Ironshore Insurance in New York City, which serves the health, environment, energy, construction, property, casualty, and professional liability sectors.

As a Penn State volunteer, he has advised students interested in law and business careers. Mike and his wife, Sally, have established the Mitrovic Family Enhancement Fund for the Business Minor, the Mitrovic Family Endowed Fund for Sports Medicine, and the Mitrovic Family Trustee Scholarship in Honor of Jack Selzer. They also contribute to the Paterno Liberal Arts Undergraduate Fellows Program. In their community, Mike and Sally endowed the construction of a new library to the Montclair Kimberley Academy.
