What enrichment activities did you participate in as a student?

I had an internship with a small startup company called Truneed based out of Binghamton, New York.

What was your first job after graduating from Penn State?

I worked as a crew metrics champion at The Vanguard Group in Wayne, Pennsylvania.

What was your favorite class?

My favorite course was ECON 315 taught by Jadrian Wooten. I really have a passion for labor economics and this course helped me transition into my current role.

How did your liberal arts education and skills prepare you for life after graduation?

My liberal arts education allowed me to develop a grasp for economics and critically evaluate externalities.

What networking advice would you share with current students?

Never be afraid to introduce yourself and say “hi.” You never know where a connection can take you or how rewarding it can be.

What role have mentors played in your career progression?

Mentors have allowed me to feel comfortable in overwhelming situations and have given me advice on post-career ventures (like retirement investing).
