What enrichment activities did you participate in as a student?
As an undergraduate at Penn State, I completed an internship for the United States Marshals Service and was a member of the Penn State Justice Association.
What was your first job after graduating from Penn State?
After graduation, my first position was an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Coordinator for Atlantic Health System in Morristown, New Jersey.
What was your favorite class and/or who was your favorite faculty member?
My favorite class was taught by a former CIA agent who took us to the CIA Headquarters in Langley, Virginia.
How did your liberal arts education and skills prepare you for life after graduation?
My liberal arts education earned me an internship at the United States Marshals Service and subsequent job if I wanted it, which propelled me to stand out if I would have pursued a career in law enforcement.
What networking advice would you share with current students?
NETWORK AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE, ITS ALL WHO YOU KNOW! The education I received from Penn State helped me advance to become a hospital CEO at the age of 35. I also earned the college's Young Liberal Arts Career Alumni Award in 2018 for Penn State
What role have mentors played in your career progression?
My mentors mean the world to me. I would not be where I am today, if it wasn't for them.
