What enrichment activities did you participate in as a student?
I served as a TA for a Women's Studies course, worked in Dr. Vescio's research lab, and was the president of Penn State's Psi Chi Chapter.
What was your first job after graduating from Penn State?
I worked as an Admissions Counselor for Penn State University Park.
Who was your favorite faculty member?
Dr. Terri Vescio! I just absolutely love her. She was an incredible mentor.
How did your liberal arts education and skills prepare you for life after graduation?
Working in higher education requires great people skills and understanding. I definitely acquired these skills during my undergraduate education, and I'm very thankful for that!
What networking advice would you share with current students?
Networking is everything! I feel like "It's all about who you know" is very true! Connect with as many people as you can!
What role have mentors played in your career progression?
My mentors have provided general advice about things such as how long one should stay in a role, how to advance, and how to be a great supervisor/mentor to others.
