APLNG 802:  Focus on Language

This course explores various domains of the English language (phonological, lexical, grammatical, pragmatics) in relation to adult English language learning and teaching.

APLNG 804:  Focus on the Learner

This course explores how individual identities shaped by cultural differences, social positioning, and institutional roles and structures influence the learning and teaching of English in an increasingly globalized world.

APLNG 806:  Focus on the Classroom

This course will guide students to analyze the interactional patterns and discourse of diverse instructional settings and the factors that impinge upon planning and supporting effective instruction for adult English language learners.

APLNG 808:  Focus on Instruction

This course facilitates the student's understanding of and ability to use effective teaching and assessment practices that support adult English language learning.
